PIPER CUB 10e ARF |
|
The Piper Cub may be the most 'classic' of all the old-timers out there. Like all the Hyperion 10e class models, this Piper Cub was designed from the ground up specifically for electric power. Hyperion engineers gave much thought to the shape and location of the battery hatch, which is a prime concern for e-modelers. Located on the bottom of the fuselage near the nose, the hatch allows instant access to the battery, and makes positioning the battery correctly easy - such that no ballast is needed to obtain proper balance of the model.
Using motors in the Z2213 class (we suggest Z2213-20) the Cub
can be a graceful scale flyer using a 9x4.5 APC E prop, or very aerobatic
using the 9x6 E propeller. No matter how aggressively you choose to
fly the Cub 10e, she looks just great in the air. The Hyperion
designers have built this model to nearly perfectly mimic the lines of the
full-size cub, and added many details to make her 'just right'. She's
a beauty! |
| Recommended Parts | ||
|
We strongly recommend that you purchase Hyperion kits
with the "power set" option, for three good reasons: First, the models are specifically developed for the power set, and extensively flight tested to insure both stunning performance and perfect reliability. When you buy the kit with power set, both the Kit and the Power Set have discounts applied. You save 10% or more on kit, motor, controller, adapter, and connectors. And you can't get better quality parts, anywhere, at any price... |
