I was was amazed when I held the first prototype of the Hyperion Emeter in my hands.  "Finally", I thought, "the eflight tool I've been wishing for all these years has arrived.!"  Until you've used one, you really can't understand how intuitive the beautiful LCD interface screen is (you don't really need a manual at all), or how convenient the Emeter is to use, or how powerful the datalogging functions.  It will certainly become the most important item in your e-flight tool box.

The Emeter has four primary screens, changed with button "A" after powering on:
  • First, a tachometer only screen with large easy-to-read numbers, plus hold, save, continue functions
  • Next, the screen you see below, which shows Volts, Amps, Watts, RPM, and (if you have entered the propeller constants Hyperion supplies) even the efficiency of your motor and ESC!!
  • Third, a battery diagnostics mode
  • Last, a screen from which you can recall up to five datasets from memory!

In addition to all those features, PC interface cable and software package will available soon (est April 15 2005) for realtime datalogging to PC.
